Green, winged peripheral IV catheter with an integrated injection port and valve for peripheral catheterisation.

The integrated port permits needle-free administration of bolus medications during infusion. The back-cut needle bevel and tapered catheter end support easier insertion and minimise the risk of vein damage. Wing positioning prevents direct contact between the rear of the catheter hub and the skin, reducing the risk of bacterial contamination. The wings can also be used with BD Veca-C and BD Veca-Fix IV dressings to help immobilise the catheter.
