0.5ml 31g 6mm BD Embecta Microfine Syringe and Needle u100 | Product Description
The Embecta Micro-Fine™ 0.5ml Syringe and Needle is a single-use U100 syringe with an integrated 31G needle, designed for accurate measurement and administration of compatible U100 preparations.
The syringe has a 0.5ml capacity, corresponding to a maximum capacity of 50 units when used with U100 insulin. Clear graduation markings along the barrel support accurate measurement and allow the selected volume to remain visible during preparation.
An integrated 31G x 6mm fixed needle provides a fine-gauge, short needle configuration without requiring a separate needle to be attached before use. The needle features a bevelled design and is permanently incorporated into the syringe.
The transparent barrel provides clear visibility of the syringe contents and measurement scale, while the plunger is designed for controlled movement during preparation and administration.
This product was previously supplied under BD Micro-Fine™ branding and is now supplied under Embecta branding. The branding and packaging have been updated as part of the transition from BD Diabetes Care to Embecta, while the established Micro-Fine™ product range continues under the Embecta name.
The syringe is supplied sterile and is intended for single use only.
